1. THE COMPANY
SBICAP Trustee Company Limited (STCL), incorporated on December 28, 2005, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SBI Capital Markets Limited (STCL), which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Bank of India (SBI). STCL is registered as a Debenture Trustee with the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
2. THE PURPOSE OF THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT
STCL understands the concerns of its customers about the confidentiality of their personal and financial information, and is committed to protecting such information. STCL shall endeavor to protect such information from unauthorized use.
While providing the services to its customers STCL collects and processes information commonly known as personal data (referred to as "Personal Data" in this document).This Privacy Statement is designed to assist the customers understand the Personal Data collected by STCL and how such Personal Data is safeguarded by STCL in the course of business.
STCL reserves the right to change the privacy statement from time to time.
3. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?
Personal Data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person viz. an individual's name, age, address, date of birth, gender and contact details. Information collected under KYC requirements is also considered Personal Data.

Customers may provide STCL with Personal Data when signing up to avail of its services as a financial intermediary eg. when customers contact STCL via telephone, email, or by writing to it directly. STCL may also collect customer's Personal Data when they request STCL information about it's services.
STCL may also collect Personal Data relating to persons other than its direct customers when providing services to its customers as a part of a specific transaction. In most circumstances, such information may be provided by its customers only. In such cases, the customers disclosing the Personal Data of others must ensure that they are entitled to do so.
5. USE OF PERSONAL DATA & FINANCIAL INFORMATION
STCL will use the customer's Personal Data to administer its Business responds to any requests from the customers about services it provides, market its services, process complaints, or any other purposes incidental to render its services.

STCL may be required to disclose the customer's personal and financial information if the same is required by any law, rule, regulation (including the rules and regulations of any relevant securities exchange) etc., or in compliance with any court order or any order from a regulatory, statutory or governmental authority of any jurisdiction or other legal or judicial process of any jurisdiction. STCL may process the customer's data to comply with certain legal and regulatory obligations that STCL is subject to. STCL may process the customer's Personal Data for its legitimate business interests.
STCL may be required to disclose the customer's personal and financial information to protect and defend its affiliates' rights, or its members, constituents, or other persons' interests or property.

8. HOW LONG CUSTOMER'S DATA IS RETAINED?
STCL will only retain customer's Personal Data for as long as necessary and as required by different statutes and the established business practices in vouge need, for the purposes for which it was gathered and where STCL continue to have a lawful basis for doing so. If the customer's Personal Data is no longer necessary or where STCL no longer has the legal basis for processing such data, STCL may delete or fully anonymize the data.
The retaining of customer's Personal Data is necessary where required for contractual, legal or regulatory purposes or legitimate business interests and marketing purposes. Sometimes STCL may need to retain customer's Personal Data for longer, for example, if STCL is defending a legal dispute or as required by law or where evidence exists that a future complaint may occur.

STCL will exercise reasonable care to protect the customer's Personal Data against unauthorized use, dissemination, or publication in the same manner in which STCL would safeguard its confidential information of like nature.
